HERTFORDSHIRE, England – A British court ruled that the death of a dietician who wrote about being possessed by aliens was an accident.

Hertfordshire deputy coroner Graham Danbury heard how Jennie Gosbell’s body was found floating in the tranquil waters of the Bahamas during a holiday.

Using reports from the Police in the Bahamas, Mr Danbury ruled the cause of death was consistent with drowning and recorded a verdict of accidental death.

Friends and family claimed there were suspicious circumstances after the 44-year-old, who worked across Birmingham for the city’s Nutrition and Dietetics Service and at Moseley Hall Hospital, died on October 8 last year off Cable Beach at Guanahani Village (now Blue Water Resort at Guanahani Village), Nassau.

Jennie’s mum Susan Gosbell, from Hemel Hempstead, said she was concerned about the death because her daughter was a strong swimmer and her passport, bag, money and personal belongings had all gone missing after her body was found by a jet ski operator. Mrs Gosbell feared her daughter may have been victim to a robbery.

“Jennie was a fit girl and a strong swimmer, so I find it hard to believe that she just drowned,” said Mrs Gosbell.

“She had just been to a cashpoint and drawn out 200 dollars before going for a swim, yet all her money, passport, make-up, shoes and even the birthday card she always carried with her had disappeared.”

Jennie had written a book, called The Body Snatchers and written under her mum’s maiden name, Susan Reed, detailed her own experiences of being taken over by Reptilian aliens. Click here to read more.
