All beaches on the Redcliffe peninsula remain closed due to ongoing deposits of flood debris from the Brisbane River.

Thousands of dead fish have already been washed onto local beaches and many more are expected with the coming high tide.

Council is currently raking beaches and picking up rubbish - thousands of cubic metres of debris including sheds, water tanks, weed and logs have already been collected.

Council is also constructing a 400m rock wall north of the Redcliffe Jetty.
